Chris & Karen roasting us before we left Adelaide
Left Adelaide on Monday Morning, and stopped at Coonalpyn
to have a look at the beautiful artwork on their grain silos.
All the kids portrayed on the silos are locals.

Silo Café across the road
got over the SA/VIC Border, & stayed at the Grampians Edge Van Park at Dadswell Bridge.

View of the Grampians from the Van Park.
Jan took a passing shot of the BIG Koala, which was just after the Park.
We missed the BIG Olive which was further back.
I don't know there's anything BIG, left to see in Australia for us lol

While passing through Nhill, we noticed a Pinball museum, and of course had to call in, as I spent many of my teenage years playing either Kelly's pool or Pinball, instead of wasting my time at Uni pursuing a career. He had over 30 machines dating back to the sixties through to present day.

Jan playing her first ever game of Pinball. She loved the gameplay, the sounds & the flashing lights.
I'm not letting her anywhere near Poker Machines!

Me playing doubles with Jan on one of the sixties machine. Sad to say she beat me!
I remember playing these machines back then for sixpence a game,
boy is that giving my age away!
The second night we stayed at a serene, by the river, free camp at
Englishs Bridge Streamside reserve in Goornong Vic.
So peaceful, right by the river, only 3 other campers there, plenty of room.

Detoured to Rochester before heading to Shepparton,
& found some colourful murals on the main street.

Made it to Shepparton, & booked into the Van Park, early Thursday afternoon.
Tom & Kelly Dearman from Adelaide, had already booked a site for us
backing on to theirs, & were setting up as we arrived.
After setting up, & some chill time, we all went to the local RSL for a meal.
We had a little tour round Shepparton on Friday morning.
Their theme for the town at the moment is Moooving Art.
The next few photos will explain that.

Jan, milking this shot for all its worth!

The amazing spider cow

Friday night the Shepparton Shakeout began, & will go to Sunday night.
Jan will put pics of the shakeout on her Facebook page, so I will only put on a few.

We leave here Tuesday for Melbourne, but that's another story
Pinball machines ugh! It's not so much the machines but the noise I can't stand. Even now with the modern equivalent I don't want to even go near. Your serene river camping looked much nicer - were the cows the three other campers? Loved the murals on silos and in Rochester, and the cows in Shepparton. Great to see the live videos of dance action on FB. Tracy
